HelpRe: Why do people hate Mandy?

If you like Mandy... You're probably going to feel a bit confused / upset / offended by this post. Just a warning. :)
I just don't like it. It feels skinny and bitchy, but simultaneously dated. Not saying all Mandys are like that, in fact the only Mandy I know is lovely. But it's not nice at all to me. The noise sounds raw and unpleasant, taking everything nice out of Amanda (and IMO, there wasn't much nice in it). If I had to use it, I would load it with prettiness all around- Iole Mandy Jeanne-Marie, or Mandy Clementine Anna, or Rhiannon Sylvia Mandy. I still wouldn't like it. If I had to use it as a first name, yes, I think I'll stick with Mandy Clementine Anna. I'd probably use Cleo myself, but I wouldn't mind if others called her Mandy. Maybe I'd call her Mandy-Clee on days when I wasn't feeling particularly repulsed or offended by the name.
