I'm more less indifferent to Mandy. Would I ever use it? No. Do I immediately think badly of someone with this name? No. I've met good people named Mandy as well as bad ones. I think that one of the biggest problems is how wildly popular the name used to be, especially in the 80s and 90s. There's a lot of girls out there who are named or nicknamed Mandy. I think TV, movies, and books did a lot for demonizing Mandy because a character by that name was usually ditzy, snarky, spoiled, mean, rude, or just plain obnoxious. Well that's just my take on it. I hope that helps explain the anit-Mandy movement lol.

If I had to name my daughter Mandy... Um... I'd definitely put it as her middle name and call her by her first name but right now I can't think of anything to go with it.
