These names have been bouncing around my head a lot lately, and I was wondering what you all thought of them. I knew a girl name Magdalene in school, she went by Maggie. Do you have any other nn suggestions?

Magda is standard where I live, and I like it a lot. Lots of people also go for Dalene, which I wouldn't endorse.

I love this name - mostly due to the 'dga' sonority following the 'Ma' introduction so I also love the nickname Magda; yet I also love the more casual & relaxed sound of 'Maggie'.

Magdalene and Magdelena are both quite nice.

I like Magda a lot, or Laney. They have better connotations than Maggie (she wasn't a very nice person).
