1) My favorite d names:
Danae
Darya
Delia
Della
Delora
Desta
2) Opinions on...
...Dalia: I like the spelling, but it sounds somehow dark/evil
...Delia: Like it! Graceful and florid. Prefer DEEL-ye
...Delora: reminds me of an elderly opera singer or so, so mabye a little too majestic, but OK
...Delilah: too cheesy/sweet and over-used
...Dakota: lame
3) Josephine or Jodie?
Josephine for sure! Jodie sounds old-fashioned and reminds me of Jodie Foster. Josephine is classy and doesn't appear to often.
4) Ridge or Ross?
I don't like any of those. But Ridge doesn't even sound like a person's name to me!
5) Roslyn or Roslin?
Prefer the Rosyln spelling, although I don't like them both. Roslin looks made up and doesn't remind me much of the beautiful rose it once emerged from
6) My favorites with the letter X:
Xandra
Xavia
Xanthia
Danae
Darya
Delia
Della
Delora
Desta
