It's a girl!
We couldn't have a boy thread without a girl thread. What would you name a daughter if you had one today? Put it in the subject line. :) Willoughby wolloughby willina, an elephant sat on Billina.

Bronwen Joan MargaretMehh....not thrilled with it. Bronwen Marguerite was my first idea but that looks wrong somehow. Bronwen Joan Margot? Maybe just Bronwen Joan. Nice and medieval foresty.
vote up1
Bronwen Marguerite is beautiful! Bronwen in any way is an amazing name.
vote up1
*heart eyes*I've always had a deep love for Bronwen. I think I neglect her a tad, though.

vote up1
It's ugly and bad dude
vote up1
ahahaha! I've got a weird attraction/repulsion to it too. I feel like the name is "really me" but also that a Bronwen would be an insufferable human being. But strong, like a Valkyrie bitch. I sort of admire her.

Marie is for my MIL

I love these together, because they're both usually regarded as "boring filler middle names", but together they become something really special. If I met a Claire Marie I wouldn't be able to resist calling her by both names all the time, because they just sound great together. ♥
vote up1
I love it. Short and sweet. Claire is a favorite of mine, however my husband has an unusual cousin with the name. That normally wouldn't stop me but Claire's mom is crazy as well.
vote up1
Eva June or somethingThis is my standard girls combo. June actually honours my mum in a roundabout way.
vote up1
Love the name Eva and Eva June sounds super cute!

vote up1
Hester OliveNo doubt about this one.

perfection, and a questionAlso, do you like the name Beulah? It seems like your kinda name.
vote up1
Aww! ADORE it!^3^

In LOVE with this name. You probably know that already. But, swoon.
vote up1
This rules.
vote up1
Nikita Ingrid Branwen (as usual).
vote up1
Spunky and full of life. I am truly sorry to say that I once had a dog named Nikita. But, my brother chose it because he loves the name.
vote up1
Thank you. That's OK. To me Nikita can be used on both humans as well as animals. Cool, that your brother love the name. :)
vote up1
Sylvia OlwenMy favorite Sylvia combo is different everyday, I swear. I'm loving Welsh names right now.
vote up1
Love Olwen. It's so peaceful but strong. I had a great-great Aunt Olwen. :)
vote up1
I love the name Sylvia! :) Classic, strong, pretty, and not often used. Great choice! Cool alliteration with Sylvia Olwen too.
vote up1
Leah Frances.I just really, really like this combo. I would use it IRL, but I would have to make my husband come around to Frances. He digs Leah, though.
vote up1
Frances is like a cool swishy green skirt.
vote up1
I love Leah. Leah and Miriam would be lovely together, but X isn't a fan. Bah.
vote up1
Very nice. I love Leah and the flow of Leah Frances.
vote up1
Aww, this is such a sweet combo. I am really digging it.

Lydia or Nora\NorahThough despite loving "Lydia" I'd rather save it for a twin set (specifically girl twins) For the time being, the only name I have paired with Lydia is Lydia Rose but when the real time comes, that middle would have to change. Rose is the name of one of my cousin's middle name and I wouldn't want it to seem that I named my daughter after her (not that that would be a problem) I think its mostly because Rose (although a very lovely name) is too much of a filler name. Its too predictable as a middle. Many of my family members have filler\predictable middle names and I don't wish to contain that unitential tradition with my kids unless I truelly liked the name. The middle name is just there for the time being but I'd replace it if I find other names to go with it. Other strong potentials would be:
Claire
Mara (Mar-uh)
Alice
Lucy (Named after Lucille Ball and the "I Love Lucy" show

Tatiana Iole RhianShe would be Tanya for short. I'm loving that lately. And I've always loved Iole, but it's boomed in my head recently. And I feel like being Welsh today- I never use Welsh names in my combos because they're so popular here- so please excuse the Rhian.
I really didn't see myself typing that combo, though!
vote up1
Melody Emilia:) Bodhi Louisa might be a close second.
vote up1
Alice VirginiaI was going to do one. Thanks for saving me the trouble, though.
vote up1
Your combo sounds very prettynt.
vote up1
Love this combo! There's some kind of friendly innocence about it that's absolutely charming.
vote up1
Alice Virginia is perfect!
vote up1
Alice Virginia Laure is one of my top combos. :)
vote up1
Yeah, right after I posted this I thought, "Maybe I should have waited." Sorry about that. :P
vote up1
Nadine Marikit IreneSorry all, you already knew that. If I had to pick another today though, I would consider Matilde Amihan Gilda.
vote up1
Slightly OT, but are u finding out the gender of your baby soon?
vote up1
So pretty! And slightly OT, but you should do a post on Tagalog names and their meanings, if you ever have the time. I'm super interested, because none of them seem to be in the database!
vote up1
I'm interested, too. :)
vote up1
Me three.
vote up1
I added a bunch to the user database, but I can surely do a post. I have a bunch that I like organized in an Excel. ;)
vote up1
Clarice and Nadine make an adorable sibset.
vote up1
Thanks! I think so too. ;)
vote up1
Nadine Marikit IreneI LOVE Nadine, but you know that. Matilde Amihan Gilda is possibly even better. I'm sort of hoping you have twin girls, now.
vote up1
Thanks! Me too, but it's just one. :)
Matilde was Dh's top choice... I won.
vote up1
Damn, haha :) I guess I can now only cross my fingers that you have another girl some day. There can't be too many of your wonderful name choices, anyway. xD
Ah, well, congratulations.
