As a middle name it could be a lot worse. It could be Leonard, for one.
However I don't think it sounds good next to Arnold, because of the repeated ar sound.
All those combos are huge mouthfuls, and I don't like any of the first names anyway. Barnaby Arnold sounds especially bad; Barney Arnie.
Leonardo's familiar because of Da Vinci and DiCaprio, not just the turtle, so I don't think it's that much of an issue, however, since the parents love the turtles, the association is a bit too obvious for my tastes.
I think, therefore I judge.
