I think more than one middle name is a bit over-the-top and greedy, but that's just me. And nowadays, unless you have a fairly unique last name, you need at least one middle name just so there aren't multiple people with your same name, first and last.

I guess if my last name was something common and boring, I could justify more than one middle name.
