Name sightings + challenge
I ran across a family on Facebook this morning and after seeing one kid's name, had to stalk for the rest.Bella
Bessie
Betty
Zane
Bennie (girl)And I think all of the girls had K middle names too. The mom has a B name and the dad has a Z name. I think the girl's names are too similar, though some are quite nice to see and I actually find Bennie kinda cute.
So if you had to name kids, lets say 2-3 of each gender, using yours and your SO's initials in this way, what would you name them?Mine would be:
Sarah Eleanor
Spring Elizabeth
Nathan Abel
Neal Augustine

I think the girls names are way too close. Bennie would be cute as a nickanme, not as a given name.
Using my and husband's initials:Louisa Bonnie

Oh, man! My boyfriend's middle initial is Y! Louisa Maeve
Linnaea MargotMorgan Yakub
Merritt YousufI cheated a little and gave one of the boys my boyfriend's middle name, but Ys are hard! And I actually think his middle is really nice. It's possibly a little strange that the boys have Arabic middle names and the girls do not, but oh well.

They are all cute names in their own right, but together it's a bit much! Bessie and Betty together is especially rough. Bennie is mad cute though.Right now, mine would Irish as heck!Brigid Sylvia
Benedict SeamusTheresa Eibhlin
Thiago Edwardedited: changed Teague to Thiago!

Well, we are J and H. We have names on our list from both. Juliet is one of our faves, and clearly reminiscent of Julius, however, I think you want us to use boy names for SO and girl names for us? (assuming I am a girl ;) )

All of the girls except Bennie have a nickname for Elizabeth. That's way too cheesy. I guess mine would be: Matilda
Maeve
Margot
Simon
Mina

I like Bennie (only as a nickname though), Zane and Bella. The other girls names sound more fitting on cows.I just randomly picked some initials for the boys to have since I don't have a significant other.Galen Balfour
Griffith Benedict
Adrianne Eugenia
Astra EileenI know these don't make any sense together, but for some reason I kind of like them.

Can't do the challenge as I have no SO, but I wanted to say that I do like Bennie on a girl (as a nickname for Benjamine, granted, but I do think it's really cute).

The girls' names sound like milk cows, or like Petticoat Junction where the daughters were Billie Jo, Betty Jo and Bobbie Jo.For us:
Boys: Paul Andrew and Patrick James
Girls: Stephanie Dawn and Savannah Marie.

Given that my husband's siblings and his cousins already all have K names and the last name also starts with a K, this is gonna hurt a bit...Clara Miriam
Cassandra Michal
Kennet Joel
Kilian Jacob

I had male K names to cope with too, harder than I would have thought.

It is hard! And I couldn't use Keith, Kevin, or Kurt, 'cause those are my husband and his two brothers, and I couldn't use Kenneth either, 'cause that's my dad. I actually really like Kenneth (I notice it's one you used!), but I figured Kennet would honour without outright repeating.

All the names are nice, except Bennie, don't like that for a girl at all. Personally I would prefer Betsy to Betty and something else entirely to Bennie. My DH has no mn. What about: Summer Kate
Sage Keziah
Presley - b
Phoenix - bA bit trendy, but I actually don't mind these names for siblings!
