Of course I immediately think of Blaise Zabini, but since he's such a minor character, it's not really a negative or positive association other than vaguely positive because Harry Potter overall is so positive.

Because of the 'blaze' association, Blaise feels bright and bold and probably a bit dangerous. But warm too, like a fire blazing in a fireplace on a cold winter's evening.

Blaise makes me think of the word blaze or the unpleasant Slytherin Blaise Zabini. Blaise Pascal is a more positive name-bearer, but he is remembered more by his last name than his first.
