I'm helping a friend with a character background and she needs a male, Italian or Spanish based name that just reminds you of a villain.
I've given her things like Cesare and Iago, but they haven't quite made the cut.

What about Malvolio? It's the name of the uptight steward from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and means "ill will" to boot. Also, it is the name of my pet rat!
If it weren't for Harry Potter, I'd suggest Draco / Drago. If your friend's character has a distinct enough personality from young mister Malfoy, perhaps he could pull it off!
