It's very easy to misread or miswrite as Kristen. And hard to know how to pronounce it; some say Ker-sten, some say Keer-sten. There was this girl in V's school whose parents solved that problem, in a very unattractive way. They spelled her name Kurstyn.
It's an okay name, but only okay. Prefer Kristen just because everybody knows how to say it (though there is always the question of whether it's spelled with an e or an i). Much prefer Kristina or Christina if we're going down that route.
