Is anyone actually called Skinner? There are SO many bad associations with this name. Firstly it sounds like you're going to skin an animal! There's Seymour Skinner from the Simpsons and B. F. Skinner the behavioural psychologist whose ethics were a bit dodgy. If that wasn't enough, the sound of if is awful!Breed is also ridiculous and doesn't even need explaining why.Durward and Humbert sound really slow and stodgy and backwards.

Humbert is kind of cool. But I think that's because I like the book Lolita so much. Not usable in real life, probably.
Argus: Argus-eyed? I like Greek mythology names, but this one seems a bit out there.
Moreland is nice, I like that one.
Breed: dog breed? Ugh, no.
Rycroft: seems very Sherlock-like. Too clunky.
Skinner: no. Just no.
Indigo: I used to like this when I was 14. Too childish and hippie-like.
Colwyn: I like names ending in -wyn. Colwyn is alright, but not my favourite.
Durward: that's pretty bad. Svjetlana is a very strange and ugly spelling of Svetlana. I don't like Svetlana anyway.
Zdislava, Sonja and Zehra are terrible.
Amisa is nice, but it makes me think of "amuse" a bit.
Amita: I seem to remember meeting someone named Amita... It's familiar. But I don't think I like it very much.

What do you mean by "one for each letter"?Argus - sounds ok. I get a very "dog" vibe
Breed - sounds more feminine to me, (like Brid or a Brigid variant) but I love Reed on a girl. Not usable though
Colwyn - neat. Seems sorta modernish
Durward - DUR!!
Humbert - dopey
Indigo - coool
Moreland - I like surnames, especially "-land" ending ones. Plus "Morey" would be a cool NN
Rycroft - too plastic
Skinner - noAmisa - pretty
Amita - ok but not as nice as Amisa or Amika
Svjetlana - I like Svetlana better, it looks cleaner. It's sexy
Sonja - love it. Sonia would fare better in my area i think
Zdislava- unsure of pronunciation
Zehra - I like it. It's a bit softer and more approachable than Zara / Zahra

When I started this I did them alphabetically, one per letter. I need to remove that from these posts, since now I do more than one per letter for the girls.

Argus - I imagine it would get misread as Angus a lot
Breed - LOL, not a very good name
Colwyn - The l and the w sounds back-to-back feel really awkward in my mouth
Durward - Interesting, but not as endearing as HOward
Humbert - adorable
Indigo - glorious!
Moreland - A bit weird, but I kind of like the sound
Rycroft - Too sci-fi for real life
Skinner - the associations are awfulAmisa - Amisa? ah-MEE-sa? That is simultaneously adorable and sophisticated. I have never heard it, but I already love it. Cool.
Amita - also nice
Sonja - Very nice. Around here, I would use Sonya. I like it
Zehra - I'd like Zara or Zarra better.
