Spelling question
Do you think that Stefanie is in any way an improvement on Stephanie?

Personally, I don't think it's an improvement but it's not an awful way of spelling it. It doesn't look too strange.

Only if you are pairing it with a name that also uses an 'f' - particularly 'f' instead of 'ph.' Or a 'v.' E.g. Stefanie Faraday, Stefanie Frances / Francis, *Fern* Stefanie...Otherwise, the 'ph' spelling is better.

Not at all.

Honestly I think it looks tackier.

No. I greatly prefer Stephanie.

I don't like the name Stephanie (or Stefanie) I find it dated and boring. I don't think the 'f' is an improvement.

Not at all. That might be because I prefer Stephen to Stefan and all other variants as well. Stephanie looks classier to me....Come to think of it, since Steven is more popular than Stephen, I wonder why Stevanie / Stevenie has never been a thing?

No. I dislike the name in general but think Stephanie is the better spelling. Stefanie makes it worse for me

No. Stephanie is much better (but I don't like either one).

Nope.
I far prefer Stephanie, although one of my best friend spells her name Stefanie.

No, it just doesn't look quite right.

Hmm, I actually do like Stefanie better than Stephanie, but only slightly because it seems to make the name a little simpler and straightforward. My husband is in love with this name so I tried out all the variations in an effort to like it (Stefanie, Stephanie, Steffany, Stephani, etc). In all cases, the spelling looked just fine but the sound put me off.
I like the letter f, so I would say, yeah, Stefanie is an improvement to me.

I don't think so. I'd prefer Stephanie because it just looks more complete. Stefanie almost feels trendy. It makes me think of parents a few years back wanting to name their child after Gwen Stefani but Gwen didn't appeal to them.

I would think not think differently about spelling alterations or variations. I would think these to be the preference of the name giver or bearer.

Only with a German pronunciation. So, no.

I don't think so. I prefer Sofie and Sofia to Sophie and Sophia, but for some reason I don't think it works with Stephanie. Having said that, as I typed this, it's starting to grow on me. I think I like either.

I like both, though not as much as I used to. I look after a girl named Stefanie at the child care centre I work at, it's often misspelled as Stephanie.
