Re: My first top names (from when I was 8)
My favourite name from these is Corina. Mayra is also beautiful: so strong and very feminine imo. I quite like Valeria. Your combos are fine, I really like Mayra Corina, not a big fan of Valeria Soledad, but it flows.
I am interested in names from a long time, and also thought mainly about girls' names. I remember my favourite names when I was about 9-10, they were: Helena (I still absolutely love it), Anna, Milena, Julia and... my name: Emilia, and I still love it. I still like Anna, but it's too popular everywhere. Julia is recently to popular in Poland for girls and I find it really boring. I still like Milena, but I'm not crazy about it. When I was younger I guess I especially liked oldfashioned names: my dolls were named Anastazja, Filipina, Klara and Helena, and teddybears were Albert and Serafin. :D Ah, and there is also my never-ending love, fascination or obsession, about which I wrote few times on boards: Jacek. It was always my favourite boy name. And when I was 11 I started to like Natalia, Maja, Eliza and still like, though Natalia becomes so popular.

Ah I've loved Milena for a long time, so musical. Anna, Julia and Emilia are great, too.I like Elena better than Helena, Plus Helena is becoming kind of trendy in South America, but it's a good name. It sounds very grown up to me for some reason.
Natalia was very popular in Arg in the 80s, too, plenty of 30 year-old Natalias :)
