Name dream
I briefly fell asleep on the bus and when I woke up, there was a name in my mind:
Florimar. The more I think of it, the more I like it. It seems (I've googled it) to be a "real" name used by women in South America.
I guess it could mean "famous flower", but also "flower sea"...? Or it could be a combo of Flora and Maria.
WDYT?Does the sea exist
Because of our longing?

Florimar sounds really beautiful! I never heard of this name but I already like it. :) I like Flora, Florence, Florrie etc. and Florimar just seems beautiful to me. It's so exotic, melodic and unique.

Wow, I really dig this. It has an attractive sound as well as look, and it has an exotic, mysterious feel to it. It's also pirate-y in a good way.I'm now wondering how it would sound on a guy as well as a girl...

It sounds exotic, but I see this as more of a place name than a person name. Like a costal city in Spain.

Sounds like "Flor y mar" which means "Flower and sea" in Spanish.
I haven't heard it before. I like the nature-y part but the sound is not doing it for me.
I tried pronouncing it in English at it sounds more mysterious and interesting.
It would make a good alternative to the popular and somewhat dated (in South America) Florencia.

I don't think I've ever heard it but it sounds familiar. I love names like that.I think it'd be nice to see someone else use it. Florrie would be cute as a nickname.
