I'm not a fan of either Edith or Josephine, but I think the combo works. I'd definitely be using the nn Edie to lighten it, but it flows well.
As for Adeline Isabel, I'm not sure. It very much depends on your pronounciation of Adeline. If it's -line, I like the combo. If it's -lyn or -leen, I really don't think it does work and I'd look for something else.
I love Adeline with all the pronounciations, and Isabel is my favourite version of that group of names.
