What would you name five sons and one daughter?
Combos, single names, whatever. You choose. :)Order them in the way you think is the most pleasing. In this hypothetical situation, these would be your only children, and your only opportunity to use names.

Peregrine Isaac
Asher Flynn
James Benedict
Thea Aurelia
Raphael Silas
Nathaniel RowanPippin, Ash, James, Thea, Rafi, and Neil
vote up1
Oooh, so many great names in there! Peregrine is not my style, but Pippin is awesome. Asher Flynn is perfect. Raphael Silas is very nice - although I actually think Silas Raphael would flow even better. Do Thea and Aurelia rhyme? When I say them they kind of sound matchy.

Oh my gosh, yes to Evander Grey. I love Grey in the middle so much. And I love Evander. Perfection!
Silas Malachi is also ridiculously handsome - if a bit overly Biblical.
Morgan Elias totally rocks too.
Well done.

Gabriel Ivan is so great! Nicely done.

So delightfully nerdy, that bunch. :) Felix Barnaby is great.
Are you sure you don't want to add a Rupert in there?
vote up1
Well, I know Rupert is definitely "my style", but for some reason I just can't like it. I don't think it's awful, but it doesn't appeal to me.

Nathaniel Augustus
Stephen Julian
Elijah Gentry
Jonah Francis

Eliseo is really cool, I've never come across it before! All your names have a very nice Renaissance feel to them.

Evander Marcus August is so ridiculously wonderful. I think he is riding towards me on a horse to come steal me away from this life.

Niko Benjamin
Mattea Plum
Kai Emerson
Lachlan Mackinley
Taggart Miles or maybe Rafferty Miles, I don't know
Roman Evander

Yay for Mattea!I vote for Rafferty Miles (good combo, btw!)
Mainly because Taggart sounds like Braggart and that's not really a good thing to be.

Peter Horace
Edward Adrian "Ned"
Felix Asa
Elias Abel
Benedict Owen
Maria Dilys

Felix Asa is so soft and wonderful. Is he grown up? Can I marry him?
Elias Abel is full of spunk and life and probably has a frog in the pocket of his muddy overalls. :)

Wow, so great. I like Emmanuel and August a lot. The whole set is downright picturesque, though.

Taking my partner's opinions into consideration...Enzo Herbert
Joseph James
Sebastian Tony "Seb"
Isaac Terry
Cooper Henry
Octavia Mary Eleanore "Taya"*All middle names honour
vote up1
At first I thought that Cooper stood out a bit oddly. But on closer examination, I think the whole set is quite eclectic. Well-rounded tastes, you have.I like Isaac Terry together.
Enzo totally rocks!
vote up1
Wow, I actually like them all. My favourite is August. But they are all great and a really nice set together.

This is so haaaardAlexander Idris
Jonathan... I have no idea, I can't do boy's middle names right now
Patrick
Graham
Abraham
Hope Claire Marie
vote up1
Graham and Abraham...hmm, they look alike and yet the sound is different. I like it.
vote up1
Today they would be:Agnes Anna Isabelle
Theodor Kjell Alexander
Axel Per Maximilian
Lucas Kieran Isidor
Sebastian Isaac Vilhelm
Kasper William AugustOne honoring name in each combo (Anna, Kjell, Per, Isidor, Vilhelm, August)
vote up1
I think you have very developed taste, but I think you should consider the spelling Lukas. It is so much more consistent with the other names, and so much more masculine. Lucas seems like a puppy, and I have trouble picturing it on a mature adult. Unlike Lukas, which just seems German and masculine. Strange the difference one letter can make in feel.

This message was edited 9/3/2015, 1:53 PM

vote up1
Yeah, one letter makes a huge difference. I don't like Lukas though. To me it's boring and "cold" in a way that Lucas isn't. Lucas is sweet and friendly.
vote up1
Lucas and Theodor together are really great.
Lucas Kieran flows really well.
Kasper William August is a very handsome combo.
vote up1
You missed one! I like Robin in the middle there.
Olin Hollis is unique and memorable.

Matteo - awesome
Elias - long time love of mine

John Pascal "JP"
George Demetrius
Charles Ferdinand "Chuck"
James Madison "Jimmy"
Julia Virginia Elisabeth Eugenia Marcella Laure :)But actually probably Julia Elisabeth.Edit: Changed Nicholas Jude to James Madison because I've been thinking of how cool that would be lately.

JP? Nice! I like the initials and I like that it's not what I would guess: Jean Pierre.
James Madison is 16 times better than Nicholas Jude, in my humble opinion.

Ah I'm so bad at naming boys...maybe it's good for me to practice..Xanthe Opal Esther
August Malachi Noah
Oscar Felix Matthias
Aurelian Ezra Patrick
Grover Levi IsidoreNot happy with those last two combos.
vote up1
I like Xanthe.
vote up1
I was looking for yours because you tend to be all about the girls. Finally I get to see more than two boys for you. :)I'm not a fan of Aurelian, but the combo is quite nice. I really like Ezra Patrick.
Grover is cool, but I'm not loving the flow of the combo... Hmm...Grover Patrick Isidore?
Patrick Aurelian?
Grover Bram Isidore?
Aurelian Giles Patrick?
vote up1
Haha yeah I'm... Really bad at boys names.I wasn't happy with the Grover combo either. I love Isidore, but I think Grover needs something a little more grounded with it.I usually just pair Felix Matthias with everything, so when I have to name more than one, I'm really scrambling for middle names!
vote up1
Changed my mind. Grover Sidney Isaiah.
vote up1
Oh, yeah, that is really nice!
vote up1
I really like Leo Gabriel.

When I consider names, I try to think both realistically and unrealistically, and about how it would interact with an individual personally, professionally, and also merely in a "fun" atmosphere. But to reflect upon hypothetical real children with such pragmatism, for someone who does not plan to have any, is difficult. To give it a go...Edmund Gilbert
Henry Severus
Benedict Enoch
Ivan Sage
Eliseo Durante
Lydia Marina SusanBut even with those, I have hesitation. They do not spotlessly work together, and I am but a fickle being. My taste for female names is generally very minimalist, sometimes gender-neutral or "masculine," and yet the names I've rummaged through for this (with attempted objectivity) show more stereotypical femininity. Its an interesting perspective.

I only get the one girl so she gets 3 names. But, I wouldn't really give 2 middles IRL. Alternates: Amy Alexandra Virginia Jasmine Charlotte Edith

Micah and Jonah would be such good names for twin brothers. I love that.
vote up1
That's so funny. I almost made them twins for this post! I worried it might be too match-y with the ending though and changed my mind. But I also just think the combo styles of Micah Emmanuel and Jonah Forest give me the same calming vibe that I love as a pair personally. :)

I almost put Mary Keturah for the girl, but I can't not favor Alice above all. Also having to split up the combo Henry Samuel is not easy for me.
