Re: Does anyone like these names?
Alexa - I don't really care for "Alex-" names at all for either gender (except Alexei), so it's no surprise that Alexa doesn't do much for me. I do think it's better than Alexandria / Alexandra and Alexis, though, and way better than Alexia.
Brielle - I like this! It makes me think of Sky Sailing's "Brielle."Goodbye Brielle
Only whispers can tell
Of the sweet dreams that we knew so well
I'll see you around our dear ocean town
The frozen days we set ablaze
Sent me drifting away
Like a butterfly, you floated by and now you're alone
I wish I knew when I'll be back again
So until then I wish you well
My dear BrielleI think it's sweet.
Caden - It's an -aden name, therefore I dislike it. That said, it's probably my favorite of the -aden names.
Jaxon - Jackson is just kind of okay, Jaxon is silly.
Jayla - I thought this might've been a further transcription of Jaleh, but I guess not. I like Jaleh more, but Jayla isn't bad. It sounds more grounded than Kayla or Layla.
Jenna - I've always liked Jenna; when I was little I thought it was one of the coolest names EVER. I like it much more than Jennifer.
Paisley - I think of artificial parsley flakes.
Piper - I used to like the idea of it, but the novelty's worn off. It seems a bit bratty to me now.
Ryder - On my "too try-hard-cool" list for boys. I just think of greasy guys with beer bellies in too-tight leather on motorcycles.
Sawyer - It's fine for a boy, just please don't use it on a girl...
Summer - I wouldn't use it, but it's fine.
Tristan - Never liked Tristan, it just sounds very flimsy to me. I do like Christian and adore Tristram, though.
Zoey - Alright, but I prefer Zoe.
