I think it could work, if the time of year isn't the names only meaning/connotation. Like August-- it's the name of a month, but it's also the anglicized form of Augustus, which makes it kind of Roman-ish, to me. Autumn, Summer, and Winter work too, because of the connotations the seasons bring. They could be special times to the parents or something. And not all girls named Tiffany were born on the Epiphany! The same goes for Noelle/Noel, Pascale/Pascal, and Natalie.
