Re: Harsh-sounding names + Oleander
in reply to a message by noel
"Harsh" makes me think of something that is sandpaper-y and not sharp/refined in texture. So I think of: Angelica, Russell, Dietrich, Frank, Grigori, Malachi, Wolfgang, Harper, Bridget, Horatio, Frederick, Gretchen, Richard, Jackson, Mackenzie, Ezekiel, Lennox. I like some of these names.I like Oleander a lot, it's very studious. Might work as an, albeit adventurous, alternative to Oliver with Ollie / Olly as a NN. I think it works very nicely as a MN as it starts with a vowel, in fact Enoch Oleander and Edgar Oleander both have sophisticated and complete rings to them.
