Re: Initial Names

I have known an Aaron John who was called AJ by everyone but his girlfriend, and a James Bradley who was always called JB. My nephew David John was called DJ. I know in my nephew's case that calling him by his initials was not planned, it just happened.
I like it fine when it works. It has to roll off the tongue. My first and middle initials, JD, do roll off the tongue, but I find initial names more suitable for males and I wouldn't want to have one myself.
