I know two little kids with each of these names.
Legend - the one I know is a girl. I don't particularly like it (not for a boy either).
Lennyx - the one I know is a boy. I like the Lennox spelling and actually like it for a girl.

1) It seems to me like someone wanted to have a girl so they could name her Zelda after their favorite video game (Legend of Zelda), but they had to settle for Legend.
2) Or, they really like John Legend.
3) Leg-end.
4) It also seems like a lot to live up to.
5) It's not awful, but I still would have preferred Saga.
