I've known more boys than girls in real life with the nn Alex. I've only known 2 girls.
I like Alec, Sacha and Xander best as nns for Alexander. Alex is okay. Lex isn't really my cup of tea.
I like Sasha for Alexandra but I prefer just Sasha on its own. Same goes for Alex, I like it as a nn but prefer Alix on its own. Lexie and Sandy are okay too.
