It's currently a babyboom among my friends. The two latest ones:
Miranda and Jonas welcomes son Rasmus.
and
Cassandra and Emil welcomes son Gabriel.
Another friend of mine and her girlfriend (yeah, a samesex couple) are finally expecting their first. It's still very early, but I few months ago my friend told me that they planned on using either Axel or Sofia, depending on the sex.

Personally I think all of the names are okay, especially Axel and Sofia. I had a feeling that Miranda and Jonas would name their son Gabriel as well but they went with Rasmus, which isn't entirely different in my opinion. It's a common name here.

It's Axel though, not Alex. But Axel is a classic and very popular name here, so it's a bit overused and boring, although lovely in my opinion.

Oh right, sorry. I think Axel is even worse than Alex, it sounds very harsh.

Rasmus would generally be considered quite ugly here, but I'd use it as a MN because it's a family name. All the names, both kids and parents, are nice.
