Re: Top 10 for May
I love Xanthe. It's so spunky and lively and enjoyably odd. It's a little on the 'cool' side with the X but it's also got history.
Sylvie freaks me out a little. It's very silky and almost slimey sounding, it makes me think of snails. It's so smooth and almost liquid sounding. But it's interesting, I guess, and I can imagine it as the name of a polished, silky, femme fatale type woman.
Iselin is pretty but makes me think of insulin.
Alaia is interesting and has a lovely meaning.I looove Oscar, one of my top names. I also really like August and Atlas, although I'm not sure how useable Atlas is nowadays. I think its dustiness is a selling-point, really. I don't *like* Schuyler but it's got a weird charm, and the spelling Schuyler as a masculine name is the only variant of the name that I don't kind of dislike.
