Usually I'm hoping my favourites will drop off the top 1000 (albeit the England/Wales/UK list) haha.
I feel the opposite way. If there's a name I like, I love to see it increase in popularity. Or, I don't mind if it increases in popularity. (Even if I feel neutral towards that name) It's the names I hate and detest I prefer to decrease on the charts. Quite a few top favorite names of mine increased (even by a smidge) and I couldn't help but to feel giddy at that (:
Elowen is a really pretty name, but I doubt it'll catch on with any significance in the U.S. But I can see it catching in the U.K.
Perhaps so. And it doesn't matter to me if it doesn't catch on significantly in the U.S. Elowen could be stationed at the very bottom and I'd be pleased as punch (:
