No one's answers had all the winners.
Gemma v. Isla is the closest race.
Poor Alyssa ... not really a worthy opponent for Alice, I guess.
What name could beat Alice?
A couple of tied polls I made that I forgot to include are
Gail or Jody?
Alyssa or Audra?
Pandora or Calypso?

I'm also surprised that Alice is more appealing than Alyssa to most people. I have a feeling it would be the complete opposite among non-BtN folk.
I think probably Iris or Astrid would have beat Alice. Perhaps Agnes would have been close.
And:
Jody
Alyssa
Pandora

Iris - one of my favorite names!
Isla - a little more interesting to me than Gemma
Audrey - I like the meaning better
Alice or Alyssa? - toughy. Alice is a family name but Alyssa is a flower and I love flower names. They're both dated, but Alice seems more classy so today I'll go with Alice.
Penelope - prefer the meaning (weaver) plus it's got a cheerier sound.
Silas - Prefer the meaning
Julian - family name
Myron - prefer the meaning

There are some hard ones in here!
Iris or Violet? - I like both. I think I like Iris better as a middle name and Violet better as a first name. I want to like Iris more as a fn and I think I like it more than Violet in theory and on other people's kids but it sounds great but I don't feel comfy calling it out. Irises are my favourite flower though so it is very much in the running as a mn option for me one day
Gemma or Isla? - I prefer Isla. It ages better than Gemma. Gemma is also kind of dated where I'm from to my age group. I like both though.
Audrey or Edith? - Adore both and could easily have two daughters named Edith and Audrey haha. Edith is my favourite girl's name so I'll go with that. I love the nickname Edie and I like the sound of Edith slightly better.
Alice or Alyssa? - Alice, no contest. I hate the name Alyssa and the slithery sound of the 'liss'. Alice is sweet and ages well. I don't particularly like it a whole lot myself though.
Philippa or Penelope? - Penelope. I find Philippa ugly (same with Philip for a boy). Pip or Pippa are appealing as nicknames but not enough for me to like Philippa. I adore Penelope.
Iris or Violet? - I like both. I think I like Iris better as a middle name and Violet better as a first name. Iris - because Violet looks like "violent"
Isla - because Gemma is too common and I don't like the nickname "Gem"
Edith - because Edie is cute
Alice - because it is classy and traditional, unlike Alyssa
Penelope, but I like both
Cyrus - because Silas looks like "silage"
Julian - because it sounds less old fashioned
Raymond - because it sounds less old fashioned
Sebastian - because it is more timeless and classic than Xavier, which seems really modern and childish
Damien - but I don't really like either
Isla - because Gemma is too common and I don't like the nickname "Gem"
Edith - because Edie is cute
Alice - because it is classy and traditional, unlike Alyssa
Penelope, but I like both

Iris or Violet?
Violet, it's less sour.
Gemma or Isla? Gemma, I guess, only because its pronunciation is much clearer.
Audrey or Edith?
Audrey. At least it's somewhat more current.
Alice or Alyssa?
Alyssa, no contest; I don't see any charm in Alice.
Philippa or Penelope?
Penelope, only for the nn Penny. Philippa sucks.
Silas or Cyrus?
Hate them both, but Cyrus is slightly less creepy.
Julian or Adrian?
Julian, only for the nn Jules.
Raymond or Myron?
Raymond. Got no problem with Raymond.
Sebastian or Xavier?
Xavier, it's much less sickly.
Damien or Dashiell?
Damian. Dashiell is irritating and pretentious.

Raymond. Got no problem with Raymond.
Sebastian or Xavier?
Xavier, it's much less sickly.
Damien or Dashiell?
Damian. Dashiell is irritating and pretentious.
-Iris (like Violetta, not the shortened Violet)
-Isla (Gemma-one would pronounce it like Gem-ma, were I live, so I don't like it)
-Audrey (Edith is dated for me, as a matter of fact Audrey as well)
-Alice (don´t like the -yssa/-issa´s, as Clarissa, Enissa, Larissa, Marissa ...)
-Philippa (so-so)
-Silas (oh, well!)
-Julian (one of my all-time classics*)
-Raymond (rather only because of Rea Garvey)
-Sebastian (*as above)
-Dashiell (the lesser evil/(-:)

Iris or Violet? - Violet, Iris makes me think of eyes.
Gemma or Isla? - Gemma - The "illogical" pronunciation/spelling of Isla bothers me, even though it's common enough now that I'm sure people would say it correctly.
Audrey or Edith? - Both are sweet. I like Edith for other people, but if I really had to use one I wouldn't have the nerve for Edith so I'd probably pick Audrey.
Alice or Alyssa? - Alice. Absolutely nothing about Alyssa appeals to me.
Philippa or Penelope? - Love 'em both! Penelope by a hair.
Silas or Cyrus? - Silas
Julian or Adrian? - Hate 'em both, but Adrian wins.
Raymond or Myron? - Myron. Cool. Never in my life have I thought about Myron.
Sebastian or Xavier? - Sebastian. Xavier somehow always feels like people are trying to be cool with X's.
Damien or Dashiell? - Dashiell. I love Dash so much!
Gemma or Isla? - Gemma - The "illogical" pronunciation/spelling of Isla bothers me, even though it's common enough now that I'm sure people would say it correctly.

Sebastian or Xavier? - Sebastian. Xavier somehow always feels like people are trying to be cool with X's.
Damien or Dashiell? - Dashiell. I love Dash so much!
Iris or Violet? - Iris! Superior flower and sound.
Gemma or Isla? - Isla is less pretentious
Audrey or Edith? - Edith; less frequently seen
Alice or Alyssa? - Alice for all money; I'd use it
Philippa or Penelope? - dead heats aren't acceptable, right? OK then, Penelope
Silas or Cyrus? - Cyrus, at gunpoint and as a mn only
Julian or Adrian? - Adrian; I'd use it
Raymond or Myron? - Myron doesn't happen where I live, so, reluctantly, Raymond
Sebastian or Xavier? - Sebastian! It's quite nice, and anything to avoid Ek-Saviour!
Damien or Dashiell - Damien, for the two nice ones I know
Gemma or Isla? - Isla is less pretentious
Audrey or Edith? - Edith; less frequently seen
Alice or Alyssa? - Alice for all money; I'd use it

Iris or Violet? - Violet. While I like Iris, it still makes me think of eyes!
Gemma or Isla? - Gemma, I have always liked it.
Audrey or Edith? - Two names I love, but I'd go with Edith "Edie", as I have a niece with the mn Audrey.
Alice or Alyssa? - Alice, so pretty and reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.
Philippa or Penelope? - Penelope "Penny", just because I find Philippa rather boring.
Silas or Cyrus? - Silas, such a great name, really like it.
Julian or Adrian? - Julian, a very masculine name to me, but still with a softness to it.
Raymond or Myron? - Raymond "Ray", it has a cool retro vibe to it now!
Sebastian or Xavier? - I like both, but I prefer Sebastian.
Damien or Dashiell? - I don't like either, but I'd go with Dashiell "Dash".
Gemma or Isla? - Gemma, I have always liked it.
