RonanComments on setsLlyr and Ronan are excellent brothers. They're very different and yet they match. Beatrix, Eleanor, and Winnie are lovely together. I do wonder if Winnie is Winifred. It would make the set more stroking and lovely imo.

Aisling - I'd spell it Ashlyn, though.I really hate Huckleberry, though. And Pippin is his brother? :/It's kinda cool that there are two Beatrixes instead of Bestrices.

Wow two Beatrix's! I love it, never met anyone named it. I also like Aria. Named one of my hens that. I like Huckleberry and Pippin, but I think they are names better for dogs than for people.

Is Quinn a boy or a girl? Either way I like Quinn and Wren together.I just watched all of Orange is the New Black in a span of 3 weeks so thinking about Piper on toddlers makes me stressed. Also, I just made the connection that Piper rhymes with diaper.

Thomas (sister Virginia) - lovely!
Quinn (sister Wren) - These sound very, very similar in my accent. Also I don't like either of them.
Nate - as a nickname it's great, not great as a full name.
Huckleberry (sibs Ella & Pippin) - Stupid. That's all.
Aria (brother Ryo) - Aria is lovely, Ryo is also nice if it's culturally appropriate.
Isla - okay, bored of it.
Jehaan - is this pronounced like the French Jean? Or
Rafael (brother Sebastian) - Love Rafael, not personally fond of Sebastian
Piper - Ugh, UGH hate this so much.
Ryder - Don't like that either.
Isaiah (sister Isabelle) - I like both names, but wouldn't pair them together.
Eleanor (brother William) - Lovely.
Ivy - Not a fan, ivy is an invasive species
Ethan - fine
Tristan (brother Emil) - meh
Beatrix - Love!
Beatrix M (sisters Eleanor & Winnie) - I do like Winnie, but kind of hope she's not Winifred.
Levi - fine
Max - generic "boy" name
Aisling - pretty
Llyr (brother Ronan) - awesome! Seriously love this.
Marcie (sister Janie) - cute, I hope they are nicknames
Carter - bleh
Porter (brother Bennett) - Ew. I like Bennett.
Jarvis - Bleh.

Gag me with a jagged spoon.
I am so sick of the "name" Huckleberry and the idiots who think it's a good name for a person. Look, Huckleberry Finn was named that for a reason, and the reason is because he *was* a huckleberry, a hayseed. It was a joke.
And Pippin makes me want to Hittim.

I'm also quite surprised that there are *two* girls names Beatrix in the preschool class. Is that a name that's becoming more popular in Canada?

People are actually naming their sons Huckleberry?

And Pippin, apparently.Brothers named Huckleberry and Pippin...

apparently ...A pippin is some kind of apple.
So I guess they going for a fruit theme here.
I think they're nuts.

LOLI thought they just lifted names from books (Mark Twain and LotR), and was wondering which book had a prominent character named Ella. In either case, she lucked out compared to her brothers.

It's hard to believe all these names are of real kids in a single preschool and their families.

This wouldn't be an unusual list in my specific town in the Deep South. You'd definitely throw in a few names that are culturally African-American but besides that, it would be pretty standard. Lots of children of academics. Go 10 minutes from here and you'd see something vastly different.

Not hard for me to believe. Browsing through the local elementary schools yearbook, I remember 2 boy Sky's and 1 Huck. I've met 2 boys named Granite recently and a little girl named Maple. At least they're not weirdly spelled.

It's not hard for me to believe. I guess it depends on where you live, though. I could probably produce a similar-looking list by browsing the directory of my kids' school (I'd have to leave all the foreign names out, though).

Nor me. I'd just assume the parents were into literature. I've met enough off-beat sibling sets.
