Alexander John (m)
in reply to a message by Puck
Yes, middle name update for those following the saga: John popped into my head the other day and it seems the most likely candidate to end up on his birth certificate so far. It's my husband's grandpa's name, so that appeases him, the meaning is significant for this kid, and it just seems to fit and feel good.I'm almost certain Garth is completely out as while I'd be ok with it, it doesn't seem right, and husband still can't make himself get on board. Gabriel is still floating around and I'm trying to revisit Francis. Both are alternative ways of honoring my dad in lieu of Garth directly.

I prefer Alexander Gabriel and Alexander Francis but Alexander John is about as sturdy of a name you can possibly get. It flows well too :)

I really like both Alexander Gabriel and Alexander Francis. They both make the steady classic Alexander just a little bit more interesting.
