I think it's ok, but nothing special. It was popular here round the time I was born so I've known a few Tanya and Tania s. I've only met one person who insisted on 'TANN-ya' but never heard anyone pronounce it the other way you mention. Everyone I know pronounces it 'TAHN-ya'http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/167578
