Re: A few girl-y names
in reply to a message by Joiya
I had a "little monkey lost" when I was a child, and I named it Dolly. I eventually got another two and named them Molly and Polly (yes, I know). So to me Dolly is highly usable, and it also holds a very special place in my heart since I had that monkey-thing with me wherever I went for like 8 years. I also have a bunny named Penny, and another one named Elliot nickname Elli (it's a boy). I strongly considered naming the bunny Holly/Hollie instead of Penny. So, as you might understand, I have a soft spot for many of these names and I don't see any problems with using many of them as given names. I like Sally as well. I do also like Millie and Poppy, but wouldn't use them myself. The only ones I can't see being used as given names are Netty, Becky and Dotty.
We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are. PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/45898Top rated: Alice and Henry
