Re: Thoughts on these names

I think Clover is adorable, but it doesn't age past ten. I can't imagine a middle-aged lady named Clover and it's hard to take seriously when I consider it on an adult. It doesn't really pass the titles test: Dr. Clover Smith, The Honorable Judge Clover Jones, Prime Minister Clover Williams. Kind of makes me feel like I'll go with someone else who sounds adult enough to handle the job.
Zinnia works for any age and I think it can pass for both fun and distinguished so while I hypothetically prefer Clover, Zinnia works much better in real life, I think. It won't upset her when she reaches those pre-teen and teenage years. It's definitely a fun and yet, workable name.
I'd suggest saving Clover for the family pet.
