I just read an article that stated these are the projected top 50 names for 2016. They made a note of names new to the top 10.

The names they say are trending up are:

-Names from horror and dark television, like Therese, Hershel, and Carol from The Walking Dead and Joyce from Stranger Things.
-Antiheroes like Harley Quinn and Banner.
-Geek Culture: Cloud (apple iCloud) is up 76%, Cortana (Microsoft), and Alexa (Amazon), as well as names that began to originally be popular in Silicon Valley like Elon, Tesla, Darwin, Newton, and Edison. They have double digit increases.
-Gender Neutrality: Boosts in male names such as Wyatt and James on girls related to Celebrity baby name choices.
-"Powerful" Women: Hillary is up 64% and Ivanka 39%.
