I agree (names that start with Cl- usually sound energetic to me, and I think girls' names that end with an O sound are very fresh/current).
I used to primarily associate it with Miss Cleo, the infomercial psychic from the 90s, which did give it a kitschy vibe imo, but I've warmed up to it a lot recently, because I like the history of Clio (muse of history and epic poetry) as well as the sound.
My favorite combo for it so far is Clio Bernadette.
