Ellie and Evie sound a bit sugary to me, but if you like sugar, go for it.I also find it slightly odd to name one after a tree and the other after a Catholic saint. Is Genenvieve a typo? I'm assuming it is, but if it isn't then it's beyond horrible. And I can't see the point of taking a word and using it as a name, but also changing its spelling - if it's good enough to use, surely it should be good enough not to mess around with?

Elowen and Genevieve are gorgeous together! Ellie and Evie are a bit too matchy for me, but Ellie and Genna/Genny or Winnie and Evie would be adorable.Elowen is much nicer than Elowyn, which is misspelled and looks super tryndeigh.

I think they'd make great siblings. Similar feel and imagery, but different and individual sounds. Ellie and Evie are quite similar, but as nns aren't used all the time, I've never seen that as a problem. Definitely Elowen and Genevieve for spellings.

I prefer Elowenn & Gwenhwyfar (Ellie & Gwenn)or completely different as Elowin & Genofefa (Winnie & Fef)

Sure, Elowen and Genevieve would be nice. I don't like Evie as a nickname for Genevieve though. I don't dislike Evie in itself, but Genevieve just has a lot more consonants for you to work with and I think it gets lost in that nickname.

Elowen looks better than Elowyn. I don't know about Cornish, but at least in Welsh, -wyn is the masculine ending.

I think they would! Elowen and Genevieve look better together than Elowyn and Genevieve, in my opinion.

Definitely Elowen, Elowyn looks odd and trendy. I like them both. They make a nice sibset. I prefer their full forms, no Ellie and Evie for me :P
