Athena "Nami" Thank you!"Your goal in life should be to make your past self envious of your current self""Be kind, please rewind" - an ancient proverb

"Theni" derives from the stressed syllable so it's definitely the most intuitive! I'm not sure Athena's the kind of name that needs a nickname, but if you insist then Theni is definitely the one. The way I say it, "Athena" ends up being pronounced "uh-THEEN-uh" (or "ə-THEEN-ə") so any nickname spiraling off the vowels at the beginning or end sounds pretty forced and artificial. Part of me wants to spell it differently though, to make the pronunciation clearer at a glance. I think "Theeny" would make sense but it does look kind of goofy!! Like "teeny". Not sure if "Theenie" is any better.

Probably Athy. I love Athena!

Theni, if you absolutely have to have a nickname, but I don't think that Athena needs a nickname or that any of them sound all that great.

Theni.Super cute.I know a few Athena's and I don't think any have ever gone by nicknames.

I want to pick Athy, but it's hard to say. Attie would be easier. The Athena I know is called Attie. Theni and Nami feel too contrived. Especially Nami, like I can't even figure out where you got that one from. lol

I also love love love the name Athena! I really like both Theni and Nami honestly, so cute! I'd probably opt for Nami if I had to choose one, but I'd probably use both interchangeably. Please vote on my PNL! (-:

Theni seems the most intuitive. My neighbour Athena was called Thena. So that one makes the most sense to me. I have no idea where Nami comes from.
