You just had boy and girl twins...
...and you HAVE to name them with some sort of theme. What is it?I have no answer for this, so I want to see what other people come up with. Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Linus and Cecilia Theme: Music
Cecilia is the patron saint of music and Linus was the music teacher of Hercules.

My DH admitted to me that he likes floral/bird names. So, just for fun, I'll try to stick to that.Marigold Linnet and Valerian Callum

Evander and Sarah.Evander means "gentle man" and Sarah means "lady". I sure wouldn't really use Sarah because of its popularity, but objectively speaking I like it, and I love Evander.

If I went full Ancient Greek GP (with honouring MNs) I'd go for Artemis Maria Chantal
Apollo Johan Marcusbut I feel like I couldn't do that to my children, so I'd probably go for something likeBriseis Maria Chantal
Evander Johan Marcuskeeping the Greek mythology with honouring MNs theme.

I have tons of answers for this because theming is my favorite type of naming for twins. I am especially fond of anagrams. So, today let's go with...Blaise and Isabel
Contenders:
Nerida and Adrien
Jason and Sonja
Arnie and Reina
Liesl and Ellis

Thor and Embla (norse mythology) Alexander and Selene (greek mythology) But in the greek one I could also go for Irene, Iris or Thalia for a girl. That one is a tough choise for me.

Theodore and Emmeline. They are both from Harry Potter and they are both 8 letters long. I'd be fine with Théodore and Émeline as well, that way both of them would be French, too.

Angus Archibald Patrick
And
Elspeth Evelyn PhoebeSo Scottish first names, alliteration with first name and first middle and second midfles starting with the same letter

Isaac Reuben and Eve Raven
Both first names have verb meanings; "to laugh" and "to live" respectively. Both middle names begin with 'R', are 2 syllables and end with 'n'.

I would either choose a plant/ nature theme or a mythology/ folklore figure theme or an astrological theme. The easiest theme is family member/ ancestor names only. Although the actual easiest theme is being named for famous historical figures. If my husband loved the name Hazel I'd easily decide on Hazel and Rowan.Hazel Marian and Rowan Arthur or Rowan Gareth. Or Hazel Artemis and Rowan Gareth. Now the theme is Nature names for the first name and mythology/ folklore for the middle.

I'm really into old Norse names at the moment so that would be my theme. Eira and Tyr
or
Eira and Frej.

Cassiopeia (nick-name Cassey / Casey) for a boy - I understand this may consist of a conventional gender switchPenelope for a girl
I use the Greek name theme - from my response to LiaMaria's wonderful "Vowels or Consonants" post nearly a year prior.

Today the theme is about writing, speaking, performing, etc.Loose interpretations of the meanings, but gonna go with...Eulalia and Gilbert. Eulie and Gil.
I also thought about going with Verna and Pascal for a spring theme.

My theme would probably be from The Chipmunks (80's version, I haven't seen the new stuff) and I would have Eleanor & Theodore. If I am also picking themed middle names they would be trees. So I would have:Eleanor Willow & Theodore Birch

The first thing that came to mind: Iris and Murdoch (Iris Murdoch), but Iris sounds bad with my surname, so... Fern Isidora and Fabian Isaac (five syllables, intials are FI, plant related: fern and "bean")

Fear and Panic!Haha.Today has TONS of Aries energy! Let's go for a bright flavor. Why do I think Arthur is so bright?Zelda Resplendence and Arthur EmeraldTempted to try to use Drake because of Dragon, but I'm just not feeling it today. As a middle to Arthur, especially, it makes the thing sound comically English.edit: OOH I like better that there be a theme. Let's find something nice. Umm. Zelda Resplendence and Zimri Paradise.Matching 5 letter Z names and a fanciful word middle name.

Maybe you think Arthur is bright because it's a heroic name?
