Out of the boys all the names go quite well with Patience, though maybe not Rufus.
I like Theodore 'Ted', Edgar 'Ted'. Angus, Abel and TobiasI don't think Oliver, Heidi and Anwen go with Patience. I prefer Clementine to Clemency. Out of the girls I like Iris, Phoebe, Edith, Elspeth and Jocelin 'Joss' best and they go very well with Patience. Please Vote PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/151224

For a boy, Angus, Rufus or Theodore. For a girl, Elspeth. Or Clemency if you don't mind another virtue name.Joss is what puts me right off Jocelyn and its variants.

I think these ones go with Patience:Edgar 'Ted' - although Ted / Teddy is getting very trendy. I think it's the new Alfie
Theodore 'Ted'
Percival
Tobias
Abel
RufusElspeth 'Essie'
Edith 'Edie'
Agatha 'Aggie'
Olive
Clemency
Olwen
IrisI prefer Jocelin 'Joss' for a boy.My favourites with Patience are Edgar and either Elspeth or Agatha.

These don't go with Patience at all, imo:Edgar 'Ted'
Rafferty 'Rafi'
Percival
Angus
RufusEdith 'Edie'
Agatha 'Aggie'
Heidi
Olwen or Anwen
Phoebe
IrisI wouldn't use Clemency, either, because then you have a theme of word names and that can look bizarre and narrow your choices when/if you have more children. (for example, Clemency & Patience could look fine but Clemency, Patience, and Felicity just looks themey.

I like Edith and Iris best.

Going with the very Victorian vibe of Patience, I'd say all of those names would work, except for Rafferty and Heidi.I love:
Angus
Rufus
Tobias
Clemency
Phoebe
Iris
and
JoscelinI like Theodore, but it's very popular with the hipster crowd here and getting a bit boring. Same goes for Edith (and they are ALL known as 'Edie), which I dislike. I'm in the UK though...I also like Percival, Elspeth (but not Essie) and Agatha (but really dislike Aggie)The others aren't my cup of tea. My grandmother's name was Olive. She legally changed it the minute she was old enough because she thought it was so ugly
