It's nice. It has a good meaning and a nature association. It's giving me Somerled & Beauregard vibes. I like it on both boys and girls :)

Too surnamey for either. If I wanted Merry as a nn, I'd go for Meredith. And I'd avoid 'wether' at all costs.

I think that it is nice!!

I like its meaning and it is clear and joyful.

I would prefer simply Merry on a girl because Meriwether could seem a last name but it is only my opinion...

It shines anyway! Good choice.

I first heard it on a male character (who was horrible anyway) and I really struggle to imagine it on a girl.
