Rose - I've never cared for Rose. It just seems too, I don't know, I imagine a lot of chintz and frills and a weak chin.
Grace - I think Grace is beautiful. If it wasn't so popular, I'd definitely use it.
Mary- I love Mary. I think it's so sweet.
Victoria - I've never cared for Victoria. It's over-the-top and I dislike the nicknames. I don't like the associations with Queen Victoria or the Victorian age. It feels a bit flashy and gauche to me.
Marie - I have such weird associations with Marie. To me it sounds so country bumpkin old lady.
My favorite of these is Mary and then Grace.
