With this spelling, I would guess the middle syllable is pronounced to rhyme with "day" rather than "eye". I think it's kind of pretty. My very first thought when I saw it in print was "Star Trek", as in the name of a new young Ensign on board the Enterprise.

It's kind of nice, though I'm not sure if it would be jen-AY-a (I prefer this) or jen-IE-a. I like Jen- sounding names, generally.

Looks and sounds like a made up, "tryndee" name. What's its origin?

I know a Genéa, which is pronounced the same way, and I like this spelling better!

I like it is it's jen-EYE-a. If it's jen-AY-a, I'd want to spell it differently.
I have been liking "-aya" (eye-a) names lately whenever I hear them, but "jen" isn't the best prefix IMO. All Jen names seem a little dated to me.

Whatever? It's alright. I'm not sure whether to say Jen-EYE-a or Jen-AY-a.
Janae is more appealing to me, and so would be Janaea.
