Re: Finn (m)
in reply to a message by Aine
I'm a fan of Finn as well (: A very handsome yet adorable name. I love it as a standalone. I understand where you're coming from since I pretty much feel the same way towards "Cole" Like I absolutely want to use it, NEED to use it, hahaha. Though I've been seriously considering having only one child soooo if a boy... :D
All the naming ends there with just 1.

Yeah, I hope with everything I have that I don't just have one! Fionn is a standalone name. One of the reasons I love it is because my Granda (great-grandfather) and Papa (grandfather) who I lived with for my whole childhood used to tell me the stories of Fionn MacCool as bedtime stories, as well as other Irish legends. But Fionn MacCool was the greatest. :) I don't like Finnian or Finley and I can tolerate Fionnbharr but it's not the same.

I used to feel the same way. I couldn't imagine having only 1 kid, no way, no how but oddly enough, my strong-headed preference changed. I mean I wouldn't mind dealing with 2 but having just 1 would be more ideal and realistic for me, I guess. Like the whole "one and done" method. I'm unfamiliar with Fionn MacCool but sentimental feelings towards a name is always endearing.
