Alexandrina
I just found out that my classmate Alex's full name is Alexandrina. What do you think of Alexandrina and what is your favourite Alex long form?

This seems over the top. Why not just Alexandra or even Alexandria?I’d have to say that Alexandra is my favorite Alex name.

I'm surprised someone used Alexandrina; I would imagine people would consider it to be too frilly for modern use. Maybe the mother of this Alex studied Queen Victoria before she was born?

I prefer Alexandra. I don’t think it is improved by elaborations. It’s better than Alexandria, though.

My favorite Alex long form is Alexandrine followed by either Alexandria or Alexandra. Alexandrina is okay, I just feel like it takes things one step too far because not only does it have double n's like Alexandrine but it also is 5 syllables like Alexandria, together it just is a little too much.Alexandria and Alexandrina feel like ballerina names.

I like Alexandrina on paper and in theory. I think it definitely needs a nickname though! Can you imagine starting school and trying to spell your name!?I love most "Alex" names but I dislike Alex quite a lot. I prefer Ally or Lexa as nicknames. Alexandra is my favourite but a huge GP of mine is Alexandretta. I also like Alexa.

Only ever knew a Aleksandra, Alexandria, and Alexandra. I like it.

I like it, but it’s a little too extra. It sounds like a name I would have loved as a kid because of its maximum fanciness.

Actually I kind of like it even though I’m sick of hearing Alexander.

It's so much more interesting than bland, overdone Alexandra. I really like it!

Slightly pretty though a complete mouthful I'm afraid and slightly hard to say unless you concentrate\say it loud and clear. Like, its not a name I would want to repeat several times in one setting, lol. Alex, although I much prefer on boys, diminishes the stress from that.Alexandria is probably my favorite (long as well but I find it easier to say) I also like Alexa

I've always found Alexandrina needlessly fussy compared to Alexandra, but I don't actually dislike it. And I give it some props for being the actual first name of Queen Victoria.

I prefer this one over Alexandra for sure! I've never really been an Alex fan myself, but I can see why People like them. I would probably pick Aleksandrina or Aleksandria, if I had to pick one (two).

I like Alexandrina. It makes me think of Queen Victoria as that was her first name. Alexander is one of my favourite boys names, and I've been thinking about Alexandra recently too as my DH mentioned he likes it.
