I like Atlas, I think I prefer it on girls, but it seems very unisex to me. Atlas Jacob is really nice.
I really dislike Miles, and wouldn't class it as a travel name at all. In fact I'd never even associate it with the unit of measure, it seems a bit odd to me, the same as naming someone inch or yard or metre.

Atlas, unisex? ...
Just curious ... what makes Atlas seem unisex to you? I mean, the only Atlas most people can call to mind is the male mythological figure who had to hold the world up on his shoulders, or possibly Charles Atlas, the famous body-builder that sold mail-order bodybuilding courses.

I usually HATE traditionally male names on girls, but female Atlas kind of appeals to me. It's weirdly cool.
