I have a (female) professor with this name. Her parents are from Leith, hence the name. She pronounces it LEETH, but I believe the proper pronounciation has a less pronounced T sound. Leith Edward James comes to mind.

Thank you! I've heard it said Leeth and LAYth. That's why I was wondering how it was pronounced. Thank you for the suggestion also. I like Leith James.
