Aurea & forms
Hi !!!In Italy there are three names which root is Aurea 'golden'.Aurea (2016 less than five babies)Oria (2005 less than five babies)Orietta (2016 less than five babies)
* Orietta Berti (1943-) is the most famous bearer. She is a singer.Oriana (2016 was given to 20 babies)
* Oriana Fallaci (1929-2006) is thr most famous bearer. She was a journalist and writer.I would like Aurea but it is too similar to another name that I really like: Aura ('breeze' In 2016 given to 19 babies).I like Orietta only for the singer because she is elegant, simple and friendly. But I dislike the name itself. My favourite is Oriana. I like this name: elegant but unusual with a nice meaning. The problem is that I dislike the writer but she is so famous that the link between name & bearer comes immediately, and this fact makes me feel annoyed.WDYTO these names? :)

Hello :)I really like Aurea, it's cute. I wouldn't use it myself but I like it and would love to meet someone named Aurea. I also really like Aura. Oriana is cute too. Oria doesn't sound very nice to me. Orietta is too much, I don't like it. I think the problem with Oriana is that it sounds similar to Ariana and Arianna which are really common. I guess I would choose Aurea or Aura.

I like Oria. Its succinct and pretty. Orietta is also pretty, but I think I like it for its novelty. I think if I saw it everywhere I would be less likely to enjoy it. Oriana is okay, but my least favorite of the O versions because its too similar to Ariana.
Aurea makes me think of areolas.

They are pretty. Aura and Aurea remind me of Aurora, which I am not a fan of. Oriane and Oriana are my favorite. That writer looks interesting, I can imagine it would be worse if you like in Italy. I actually used to go to the same pottery class as a Oriana.
