Nova Isel
Granddaughter of a deceased family friend. She's about a week or so old. Personally, I really don't care for it. What are your thoughts though? Nova Isel

I think its sweet. I think its unusual enough without being super unique and difficult to say or write.

I have a lukewarm reaction to Nova. On one hand, I like the look/sound and that it reminds me of stars (supernova). On the other hand, it seems more like a name for a comic book character than a person, to me...or so hip and newfangled, it's cliche. The fact that Nova is a term I hear used semi-regularly to refer to northern Virginia doesn't help.I love Isel, though. This is the first time I've seen it, and it reminds me of: Ivy, Hazel, Sisel, Isis, Isolde, Giselle, Griselda (all of which I like to varying degrees). So, I actually like the combo a lot. It comes across to me as: energetic, natural, modern, unexpected, complex.
