Re: Alexandra
Alexandra used to be on my list. Most Alexandras round here get shortened to Alex so actually I don't hear 'Alexandra' spoken out loud too much. And yet, it did lose something for me. I couldn't put my finger on it but one day I woke up, looked at my list and read it aloud and Alexandra wasn't enough for me anymore.I traded it for Alexandretta which is a Egyptian place name I picked up from my obsession with the Indiana Jones franchise. While Alexandretta is very much GP, I do love it very much.In my top ten, I also have Lexa as a name in it's own right. If I were to use Alexandra - or more likely, Alexandretta - I would shorten it to Lexa rather than Alex.https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/117870?sort=rank&pop=ew
^Top 2 = Alexei / Eloise ~~ Bottom 2 = Indiana (m) and Bridger
