Violet - I love both, but I'm going to go with Violet this time. Violet nn Viola, Vi, Vivi but Rose nn Rosie is cute.Hope - A difficult choice, as I'm not religious and not a fan of either. Autumn - I have strawberry blonde hair, and the idea of a little girl with similar hair and this name sounds so sweetHeaven - I don't like either name, but I slightly prefer Heaven Reagan - I don't like either name, but with the nn of Rae or Rae-Rae would be passable for me. Mary - A difficult choice. I don't care for either, although I don't mind Elizabeth as a mn. I dislike most of the nicknames for Elizabeth, except for Beth, but because I would have no control over what nn my daughter would be called I would just spare my sanity and call her MaryEmily - I slightly prefer the sound of Emily to EmmaLyric - I like the name Melody, but because I detest the nn of Mel (which Melody would inevitably get), I would probably go with Lyric to avoid this June - because the idea of a little Junebug, Juno or Junie is appealing to me Paris - I guess. Not a fan of either. As someone else suggested, Pari as a nn

Rose or Violet - Violet. I think it is prettier IRL, but Rose does have a sweet simplicity.Faith or Hope - Hope. Faith is a little heavier in the expectation department (also a little more dated)Summer or Autumn - I prefer Sommer over both, but I like Summer. Heaven or Nevaeh - neither. One of my faves is the similar Nevena though.Kennedy or Reagan - eck. Um, Reagan?Mary or Elizabeth - Mary... though the nicknames for Elizabeth would win against Mary.Emma or Emily - Emily. Lyric or Melody - Melody!!May or June - So hard! Love June though. London or Paris - London, I guess.

Rose or Violet - Violet, because it's more substantial. Rose is growing on me, though. (no pun intended XD)Faith or Hope - FaithSummer or Autumn - dang, I like both! But since I already have a cousin named Summer, I'll go with Autumn.Heaven or Nevaeh - NevaehKennedy or Reagan - ReaganMary or Elizabeth - ElizabethEmma or Emily - EmilyLyric or Melody - Melody, because it's more established as a name (which is NOT to say Lyric isn't; it's just that Melody's been around longer)May or June - June, but as a nickname for JuniperLondon or Paris - London

• Violet - Love both
• Hope
• Autumn - My name! I have a half sister named Summer (ha-ha) so I guess I’d rather name a baby after myself than her.
• Heaven
• Kennedy - Hate both, ugh
• Elizabeth - Love both
• Emily - Like both but Emily’s been winning me over lately
• Melody - Dislike both
• May - Like both
• Paris

Violet - Rose bores me.
Faith - Adorable.
Summer - I prefer it for a boy but it's better than Autumn.
Nevaeh - Ugh, that sucks but I hate the name Heaven a bit more.
Reagan - I don't care for it. I'd call her Rea / Rae almost exclusively.
Elizabeth - Adore this name and would gladly use it.
Emily - It just seems to have more substance.
Melody - Lyric's sound doesn't appeal to me.
May - The first name I ever loved and I still do.
Paris - Neither name appeals but I could be okay with Pari.

Violet. It's just easier to picture calling a daughter Violet than Rose (we'd call her Rosie I think).
Faith, just because Hope sounds sort of melodramatic to me.
Summer, because Autumn sounds ugly in my accent and anyway I love Summer as a name.
Nevaeh, because Heaven sounds like heavy and that bugs me, and also it's sort of icky to me to call a person Heaven.
Kennedy, it sounds more like a first name and I have more appealing associations with Pres. K than Pres. R.
Mary. I like Mary. I've never liked Elizabeth.
Emily (answered this in another thread yesterday)
Melody. Lyric is too artificial to me. Bugs me.
June. I feel like May is sort of simpering. Though I like Mei.
Paris. I've always liked Paris as a girl name, but don't care for the sound of London.

Hope
Autumn
Nevaeh - it just sounds prettier to me, and also I think it’s funny how much this name upsets people. Of course I wouldn’t want to inflict that on a child in real life, but in the case of a if-you-had-to game it’s somewhat entertaining to think about.
Kennedy
Mary - my moms name, although Elizabeth is her middle name, but that doesn’t feel like it’s “her” as much as Mary does.

Rose. I think it's underused as a first name, and I just like it much more than I like Violet, though Violet has grown on me a little.Hope. Because I don't like the meaning of Faith, although I like its sound better than I like the sound of Hope.Summer. I've always liked Summer, and always hated the sound of Autumn. My son tells me that he and his partner considered Autumn for their daughter. And chose Lucille nn Lucy instead, thank Providence for small favors.Nevaeh. I don't believe in Heaven, and at least Nevaeh sounds less like Heaven than Heaven does.Kennedy. Because I can't stand Ronald Reagan.Elizabeth. Although Elizabeth has historically been almost as popular as Mary, for me its greater complexity saves it from the generic image that Mary has.Emily. This is really a toss-up. I think I prefer Emily because it's longer and a little more complex.Melody. I think it's prettier than Lyric.June. May is okay, but somewhat tame. June has more sass.Paris. It just sounds more feminine than London. London is all boy to me.

Fictionfan86110Oops, forgot oneEmma or Emily: Emma. (I prefer Emily but since I have a sister named that, the name obviously wouldn't be usable-not as a first name anyway. Of course I wouldn't use Emma IRL, just that it's a bit of a separate name from the other.

Rose or Violet - Violet; it's on my list of names I'd actually consider usingFaith or Hope - this is very difficult because I'm not religious, so why would I name my child Faith, but Hope is just a lousy sound. I guess Faith Summer or Autumn - I like the sound of Summer betterHeaven or Nevaeh - Nevaeh, it sounds prettier than Heavy HeavenKennedy or Reagan - ew. Kennedy.Mary or Elizabeth - MaryEmma or Emily - EmilyLyric or Melody - Lyric

May or June - JuneLondon or Paris - ugh London I guess

Rose or Violet? Tough one, can I use both? I honestly can't choose. I love them both. Sorry, that really doesn't help.Faith.Autumn. Another tough one, not really a fan of either.Nevaeh. I may be Christian, but using Heavan or Navaeh as a name does make my eyes roll.Kennedy.Elizabeth.Emily. Another tough decision.Melody.June. Would love to use June or Juniper as first name, and May as middle (not in the same name though, too much).Paris. Can I just say neither?

Violet, because it would sound better with our last name.Faith, because it sounds more like a name than Hope does.Summer, because I genuinely like it.Reagan, because I like the sound better than Kennedy.Elizabeth, for all the nickname options.Melody, because I don't like Lyric, at all.Paris, because, again, it sounds more like a name than London does. I actually really like Paris. *ducks*
