The look of it is dated to the 80s and 90s, but if I listen to the sound of it objectively, I kind of like it. I picture a female knight, breaking down barriers like a feminine Sir Kai. It isn’t a name that I would use, but I like it a little more than some of the other names from the K period.I have met a Kalyne, which is pronounced differently but has a similar feel. She was an energetic and creative person with a take charge attitude.
